Juridical Analysis of the Crime of Sexual Harassment (Case Study of Abuse of Students at Bengkong Orphanage)

Sexual harassment refers to someone's actions to control and influence another person with words or behavior that leads to engaging in harmful sexual acts. Victims of sexual harassment are usually women and girls. In the sexual harassment case in Bengkong, a Koran teacher who was the perpetrator molested 10 of his students by luring and threatening the victim. This happened because the Koran teacher had previously watched a sex video. The aim of this research is to determine how pornographic videos influence the prevalence of sexual harassment and the types of offenses that occur in these cases. Normative juridical methods are applied in this research. The results of this research show that pornographic videos have a great influence on criminal acts of sexual harassment because there is encouragement to commit immoral acts. Regarding criminal responsibility by the perpetrator and the implementation of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection.
